A new kind of donor relationship: predictable, quarterly, unrestricted income from contributors who've built permanent funds with your cause in mind. No campaigns to run. No grants to apply for. Just yield, every quarter, for as long as the fund exists.
Most charities live on cyclical fundraising — campaigns, gala dinners, grant rounds, end-of-financial-year appeals. Benefund offers something structurally different: yield from a permanent capital base, distributed every quarter without prompting.
Distributions are made on the first business day of each quarter. The amount depends on contributors' fund balances and yield, but the cadence is permanent. Plan your operating budget against it.
Distributions arrive as ordinary tax-deductible donations — unrestricted operating income. Use it for general operations, programmatic delivery, capacity building, or whatever you need most. No ringfencing, no conditions, no required reporting.
Be discoverable by Australians actively choosing where their long-term charitable capital goes. We do not lobby for or against any individual cause — but we make every partner charity visible, searchable, and selectable in a clean, dignified directory.
There are no fees for charity partners. No setup costs, no ongoing commissions, no listing fees. Distributions arrive in full, with full tax-deductible status preserved for the contributor.
Here's how a single quarter's distributions to a partner charity might appear, drawn from contributions across many individual Benefund accounts. Each line is a single contributor whose fund includes your charity in their distribution split.
Each quarter, you receive a single consolidated transfer from Benefund — accompanied by a single statement showing the underlying number of contributing funds, total amount, and your distribution share.
You issue no individual gift receipts. We handle that for every contributor through your existing DGR endorsement. Your job is simply to do the work — we'll keep the funds flowing.
Benefund partners with Australian charities that meet ATO and ACNC requirements. The eligibility bar is exactly the standard required for tax-deductible giving — no more, no less.
Benefund makes no judgement on individual missions or causes. As long as your organisation meets the regulatory bar above, you're welcome. We do, however, decline organisations under active ACNC enforcement action or with publicly substantiated material governance failures, and we comply with applicable Australian law on prohibited purposes.
Most charities are onboarded within two to three weeks of submitting their application. The process is designed to be fast, simple, and low-burden on your team.
Complete a short online form with your charity's basic details, ACNC and DGR registration, finance contact, and a brief mission statement.
We verify your DGR endorsement and ACNC registration directly with the ATO and ACNC. Typically completes within five business days.
We send you the partnership agreement, set up your distribution bank account, and add your charity to the contributor directory. Live in approximately two weeks.
Or reach out via the contact page — we'll send you the application form within one business day.
